Staff Accountant – Saint Paul, MN Headquarters
345 Plato Blvd, Saint Paul, MN 55107
Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing timely and accurate accounts receivable and collection duties according to company principles, and will assist the accounting department in various month-end and year-end duties.
Responsibilities
- Process AR cash receipts including ACH payments
- Resolve AR cash application discrepancies
- Perform collection efforts on freight related accounts up to the point of working with collection agency
- Process AR statements for freight related accounts
- Match AP checks to invoices paid
- Back up LTL/Fleet billing and settlements
- Assist in all accounting areas as needed
- Assist in preparation of yearend audit schedules as needed
Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
2-year AA degree in Accounting or
1 year experience in relevant accounting position
